Footprints in the snow

One of Aidan's favorite things when it snows it to make footprints or "tracks".  He also likes to see Daisy's footprints and tire tracks left in the snow.

Today we were back at gymnastics for the first time since our break.  Aidan had a really good time.  After gymnastics he decided he wanted to make a map to gymnastics, including the "boom tracks".  He's been really into maps lately, it's his new thing.  What other two year old wants to make maps?!  In case you're keeping track, my two year old's interests are: talking about all the dinosaurs and what they like to eat and what they like to do including Triceratops, Stegosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Giganotosaurus, Ornithomimus, Deinonychus, Gallimimus, Pteranodon, etc; discussing the planets and what they look like, including the fact that Jupiter is the biggest, Saturn has rings around it, Mars is red and Neptune is blue; and now maps, making maps and following maps.  I see his double dose of engineering genetics is kicking in.  We'll see how this works out when he gets to school!  Have no fear though, he keeps us grounded by calling a pig a "hippo" 9 times out of 10!

Aidan quote of the day (driving at night while it was snowing):  "This is a beautiful time to look at trees."
